Sunday, October 12th 11AM-5PM A uniquely pink event that will give you an excuse to dream of wedding day bliss in a range of pink hues. With personal attention to dream wedding creation, PW Jitters Bridal Boutique and the South Placer UCD Breast Cancer Endowment come together for the first ever Unique Pink 2008 Bridal Fair & Fundraiser. Explore your dream wedding options while giving hope and giving back. Top notch regional wedding professionals have been invited to exhibit their impeccable services and products with one catch… they must donate a uniquely pink item worthy of the uniquely pink raffle or auction. With your help, the goal is to raise money for a great cause, the South Placer UCD Breast Cancer Endowment. Their fundraising monies will go directly to the endowment to help fund the Breast Cancer Endowment Chair at the UC Davis Cancer Center to recruit researchers, build laboratory space, continue offering treatment programs, and to ultimately “eliminate the suffering and death due to cancer by 2015”. Lets “Think Pink” together with the South Placer UDC Breast Cancer Endowment to raise awareness about breast cancer health issues and promote early detection resources.
